This is a very beautiful work, like most fast captures. The balance between white and black really pushes forth the up drop, which is of course the focal point.
The reason this one is separate from other plain drops is that there is an object under it. This creates a whole different meaning and is a new style. The drop makes it look like you're opening a star, or creating a black hole. It's a vision.
The composition is nice, though in the center, it still has great focus and isn't dull like most centered shots. It is very well balanced in terms of contrast, with darks in the front fading into a middle grey, with the explosion of white in the middle.

It took me a little while to realize what was under the drop, so the impact was a little hurt. But barely. Also fast captures are done often so it isn't extremely original, but very close to being so. There is definitely a beauty in the point you capture the drop, with the rounds in particular. It isn't sharp and almost looks like an ice sculpture.

Very beautiful, good work.
